Lily LaRue is a burlesque dancer, and pin-up model, that began her career mesmerizing audiences in Detroit in the spring of 2004. Lily has performed with Detroit’s olde-tymey vaudeville-style variety show, Torch with a Twist, and Hell’s Belles Girlie Revue. She has been a regular performer at Detroit’s international erotic art exhibition, The Dirty Show, held annually. She is a graduate from Michigan State University, with a degree in media arts production, and minor in theater/fine arts. Lily was introduced to the world of burlesque when she saw a documentary program on television. She found exactly what she was looking for in a creative outlet, a performing art that allowed her to be classy, sexy, and theatrical. Lily has a wide range of acts from classical fan dances, to rock, metal and even honky-tonk character shows. She is the creator and instructor of “The Art and History of the Burlesque Strip Tease”, a seminar and series of classes teaching women confidence and empowerment though learning about burlesque.

She has been performing and choreographing for with the troupe for 4 years now is proud to be a part the ongoing journey. In her time with the Peek-A-Boo, they won Best Troupe Miss Exotic World 2008 and appeared on Season 5 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. They currently perform regularly World Cafe Live.
