Mama Schlapentickle – Sabrina Chap
Sabrina Chap’s got classical piano skills, the ballad heartbreak of Tom Waits, the onstage antics of Phyllis Diller and the voice of a whiskey angel. Her sets are a ragtime stompin’ good time, full of laughs, heartbreaks, and just plain good songwriting.
A classical pianist since the age of 5, Sabrina initially came to songwriting once she picked up her first guitar in college. Her first album, Bedroom Sessions, is a collection of folk songs written exclusively on guitar and recorded in her bedroom using Garageband.
After years of developing a strong folk following at places like the now defunct Burkhart Underground, Uncommon Ground and virtually every coffeehouse in Chicago, she moved to Milwaukee to try find a new sound. It was during that time that she turned back to the piano, and learned Scott Joplin’s infamous ‘Maple Leaf Rag’, and began writing songs in the ragtime tradition.
Since moving to New York, she has performed at a variety of musical venues, such as Rockwood Music Hall, Bar 169, Vivaldi Café, Banjo Jim’s and Bar 4. She has done a solo tour of England, Scotland and Germany, as well as completing a tour through Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium with Argentinian songwriter, Agustina Mancinelli.
This past year, Sabrina has been playing a buttload of shows on the East Coast. She began playing burlesque shows in Chicago with Gurlesque Burlesque, and was delighted to perform in the Cheeky Monkey Sideshow, the Trixie Little Burlesque Show, SketchyCon, Hot Dutch Oven Burlesque, Honfest and is proud to be Mama Schlapentickle in the Schlapentickle Family Burlesque and Revue.
Doorstep-Basket Baby – Miss Pusskatt

Her Unique twist on each performance is guaranteed to leave the audience speechless. A pyro professional, grinder girl, burlesque chanteuse, fetish entertainer, suspension artist, aerialist, Vaudevillian, sideshow performer, she is ONE OF A KIND and 100% REAL.
Rowdy Offspring – Paco Fish
Paco Fish thrives on duality. The cabaret-performing alter ego of Paul Galbraith, a cytogenetics technologist by day, Paco Fish is a dynamic performer of spoken and physical comedy, burlesque, circus, and any other medium where he can find a stage. Most of Paco’s characters exist in multiple worlds at the same time and his acts are visual representations of the transitions between different, but coexisting realities. Whether playing the aggressive lion with a heart (and thong) of gold, the go-go dancer working part time as the Grim Reaper (also with a thong of gold), or the bride of indeterminate gender, Paco dismantles assumptions and defies convention with humor and passion.
Darling Daughter – Marla Meringue
Marla Meringue is a costumer, artist, and performer. Her work deals with issues of femininity and eroticism by creating characters, sumptuous outfits, and doing bizarre and wonderful things with both of them. A true maker, she uses labor as a way of working through ideas and creating intensely-crafted garments and objects.
Marla grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in May of 2010 with a BFA in Fiber and a concentration in Experimental Fashion. She currently lives and works in Baltimore City.
Pop Schlapentickle – Swami YoMahmi
Presenting phenomenal feats of sideshow hilarity, Swami YoMahmi performs unnatural acts of comedy with shattered glass, rusty nails, a staple gun, razor blades, bondage, a love of pop culture and one rubber chicken. Even if you’ve seen sideshow before, you’ve never seen anything like Swami YoMahmi.
Swami YoMahmi has appeared at The Arch Campbell Variety Show, the DC Comedy Zone, on the 98 Rock Morning Show, Coney Island’s Sideshows by the Seashore, the world-renowned Palace of Wonders, and been featured on National Geographic’s “Is It Real?”, the film “Step Right Up” and the books, “Weird Virginia” and “Carny Sideshows”.
Spinster Auntie – Mab, Just Mab
Currently, Mab can be found monkeying around with the rest of the Cheeky Monkey Sideshow, which happens to also be DC’s longest running theatrical sideshow. Mab believes that every single person has superpowers. One of Mab’s super powers is the ability to find the shortest lane in at a toll booth. The other is the ability to walk on broken glass and hammer spikes into her face. Mab is a freak. You probably shouldn’t try that at home.
